What, no Orthodox or Eastern saints? I'm demanding a recall! biggrin

But, then again if they can have Pope trading cards, why not this?

Maybe we can install an icon dispenser carrying popular Eastern saints next to it?

There are Pope trading cards? Do they come in packages of
chewing gum (am I showing my age?)?

Are there Anti-Pope trading cards, too, or are they included
with the original set?

Dear Edmac,

I have seen these trading cards somewhere along the way in my journeys. I would not think though they are available via the convenience store though, so that might rule out the bubble gum, but who knows? Maybe the same place they sell Saint trading cards? I have seen those also.

As to whether anti-popes are included, I guess you will have to collect them and see. wink

You'd think they would have a promo ad next to the "Santo Machine" with Fr. Guido Sarducci in the ad! biggrin

Shrine of the Holy Whapping did a post on "Santos"

I don't know if I just don't notice them, but I can't tell you the last time I have seen vending machines like that... as kids we always wanted a quarter to get some junk. My mom was the least pleased when we spent our "hard begged" quarter on the little plastic containers of "slime"...

If they would have had those when we were kids, maybe things would have been happier for her on the drive home.

I have a Pope John Paul II comic book. (It's the story of his life.)
