I agree that respect of position is called for in all cases. I have no trouble with affording the respect inherent in any bishop or clergyman, irregardless of affiliation. But by the same token, why should Chalcedonian Christians submit to a non Chalcedonian bishop?

Actually, under the agreements both sides state that their is no disagreement. What went on was that each side had a different legitimate way of understanding of the person of Christ.

Therefore, when unity occures then non Chalcedonian Eparchs would be just a valid as Chalcedonian ones.

Communion in any case implies unity of faith, so if communion has been restored among the various Churches of Antioch, this necessarily implies that the Christological issue has been resolved to everyone's satisfaction (except, of course, integrists on all sides who will accept nothing short of submission of the others to their own position).
