I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered from Old Believer Store [old-shop.chat.ru] If you have, what are your thoughts or opinions.
Thank you for your time!

Welcome to the forum.

As for your question, have you researched this site? I just was on it and couldn't see--at a quick glance--how one contacted the site owner. I can't pass judgment, but I am, at first glance, wary.

I looked at the website and, if the links are sending me to the correct pages, I recognize and can vouch for the owner, Taras Burnos, whom I have known for over 10 years. Taras is a journalist and Old Believer who lives in Kiev. Tell him Tom in Cleveland says "Hello".

mailto: tarasburnos@mail.ru

You can also view another of his sites (through Google translate):

And, he has a Facebook page:

His mother makes the pillows and they sell the prayer ropes, icons and a beautiful calendar - if you read Church Slavonic - with all their glorified Old Believer Saints and Martyrs included. Taras knows some English and can answer your questions.

I have always found him to be an honest and sincere Christian. It is good to see that he still distributes materials on Russian Old Believers.

I was wondering who are some of the Old Believer Saints and Martyrs? May they pray to God for us.

And also what is the process for cannonization within Old Believer communities since many have no Priesthood/hierarchy?
