Based on prior postings, I'd say he meant Vatican 2
As folks have suggested to Tom a number of excellent texts relative to Eastern Christianity in general, as well as some which are specific to either the Catholic or Orthodox perspective, and it seems that the thread can't any longer be kept on track, the thread is closed.
