Newly installed informational plaques in the Fr Ross Cemetery

These three informational plaques were installed in the cemetery in anticipation of the 200th Anniversary. It's always good to see how well the cemetery is maintained. There is nothing to protect it from vandalism, located steps off the 2 lane highway 101. Last fall my husband and I stopped there and a number of the rustic wooden cross markers had been replaced with new rustic wooden crosses. The site is quite exposed to the elements there in terms of rain and wind, no snow of course, which take their toll on wood.

Very nice! May the memory of the faithful buried there be eternal!

My mother used to live near Gualala; my husband and I would always make a visit to Ft Ross part of our vacation time when we went to see her. Thank you for posting the photos and the links to the other photos.
