Tony,
Christ is Risen!
Indeed, He is Risen!
It is funny that you mentioned not hearing "Son of the Living God". When I first started praying the Chotki (the beginning of this year), I had purchased my Chotki from a merchant on E-Bay (not a plug, honest

), and he included a beautiful pamphlet for the "Jesus Prayer" that was produced by the 'Byzantine Nuns of St. Clare', in North Royalton, Ohio. Version 3 of the prayer in the pamphlet is:
"Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, through the prayers of your most holy Mother, have mercy on me a sinner."
At the end of January, as my father became very ill and went to Hospice, I learned to truly pray the Jesus prayer and it became for me, "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me a sinner." and that is now forever ingrained into my mind. Just wanted to share where I learned the origins of "Son of the Living God".
