While I'm not Catholic, and so am a guest on this list, and generally feel the need to not express my feeling about ecumenism, I can not help but to reply: How DARE you compare the Holy Orthodox Church to Hitler! How DARE you judge the actions of the hierarchy of Christ's Church! How DARE you mock, deride, and insult God's representatives on the earth, especially of a nation that has just come out of a fierce persecution and that has produced countless martyrs!

Yes, they wouold entertain some kind of unity with the Catholic Church if we Byzantine Uniates were not in the conversation (did not exist). Sounds like Hitler's plan for a new Europe devoid of Jews.
