and order Slavic Cookbook by Julianna Romanova and Pavel Bencko-Maras. They call the book Pennsylvania Soul Food. The recipes are excellent, both everyday and holiday foods. It only costs $11.00 They also have interesting comments throughout the book.
This would be great as a parish fundraising activity. A parish could sell them for $15 and if every lady bought one the Church would make $4 each. Some might buy two, one for their daughter.
