Hi all,

A friend of mine, the Franciscan Sister of the Atonement, Sr. Lorelei Fuchs, asked me to pass on the link for the 2006 meeting of the US National Workshop on Christian Unity. You can find more info here: http://www.nwcu.org/ and I'm sure the site will soon get further details.

The Graymoor Franciscans (the Franciscan Friars and Sisters of the Atonement) [graymoor.org] do a lot of good work on the ecumenical front. They run the Centro Pro Unione [prounione.urbe.it] in Rome, and the Graymoor Ecumenical and Interreligious Institute [geii.org] in New York, for example. I've been to their Mother House in Garrison, NY, and they even have a tiny, but beautiful, Byzantine Catholic chapel on the grounds. (I've heard that the Italo-Greek/Italo-Albanian Byzantine Catholic Mission Society of Our Lady of Grace [byzantines.net] occasionally holds its Divine Liturgies in that chapel.)

Stay tuned...

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas! Prayers for the upcoming year!

Peace,
Alex NvV
