Last August my wife had a miscarriage around 15 weeks (after 4 healthy pregnancies). God blessed us with another pregnancy this past spring, but unfortunately, we found out yesterday at her 15-week checkup that she lost this baby as well.

Tomorrow we have to go to the hospital for my wife to deliver the baby. I would appreciate prayers for my wife, as well as my whole family.

Francis,

Our prayers are for you and your wife at this terrible time of loss in your lives. May God extend His healing hand to you both.

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

Oh, Francis. I am so sorry to hear that. Please be assured of my humble prayers for you and your wife and for the repose of your dear young child who is now with God in heaven.

God bless,

Gordon

Look down from the heavens, O Lord; see the helplessness of us and be gracious to your servant who has miscarried that which was conceived in her.

O Lord Who watches over children in both the present life and in the life to come, receive in peace the soul of your little servant, for You Yourself have said "Let the little children come to me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven".

I also know the loss of miscarriages, and unfortunately I know most of these prayers by heart.

AMEN!

A young woman who had miscarried last year, found out at a time while the infant was still alive, th heart beat could still be heard. She refused to allow the doctors to do anything until the little soul was back with it's Creator. The hospital gave her all sorts of grief at the time.

Afterwards she went home and cried, but how wonderful the love of a mother to keep her baby in the greatest comfort she could give. It was also her second miscarriage.

I never miscarried, but my heart goes out to all the moms and dads who have.

Peace of Christ be with you all...

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen....

I wanted to give everyone an update, as well as thank you all for your prayers.

My wife delivered our baby, a son, on Thursday without any complications. We named him Philip, after Philip the Deacon from the Acts of the Apostles. We were amazed to find out after naming him that the feast day of St. Philip the Deacon is June 6, the very day on which we learned our baby had died.

We had a private Mass and funeral this morning, and were able to bury him right next to his older brother, who died at the same age last August.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Dear Francis,

Prayers for you and your wife. May our blessed Mother of God comfort you both.

I lost a baby at twelve weeks and in the same manner...I went for a routine checkup and no heartbeat was detected. The baby died in utero, so
I know the heartache.

Be grateful that you were told the gender and that you were able to bury your baby. I was never given that information nor that option at the hospital.

In Christ,
Alice
