Dear Friends,

Please remember my brother in your prayers. He was rushed to the hospital late last night with a high fever, severe headache/back ache, and stiff neck. He will be having numerous scans, tests, and consults in the next few days while the doctors attempt to find the problem. So far they are ruling nothing out. He's in Chicago and the rest of us are spread out from east to west coast and won't be able to get there for several days.

Dear Barbara,

May the Wounded Healer embrace your brother with His nail-pierced Hands.

He already is!

Barbara:

Your brother and your entire family are in my prayers and remembrances at the Divine Liturgy. May our Lord Jesus Christ, the physician of our souls and bodies make straight for your good, the present way, according to the need of each.

Dear friends,

Thank you for remembering my brother in prayer. While we still don't know what is wrong, they have at least ruled out meningitis which was a big concern. We wait and pray...

May He Who Healed during His time among us grant that the cause of your brother's symptoms be found quickly. May his healing be quick and complete. May His mother intercede for those who wait.

Dear Jesus guide the hands of the physicians with your healing hands. Grant your peace to the family, that they may be truly aware of your love for their son and brother, and for them.

My brother was discharged on Tuesday. His fever finally broke and they were able to find a medicine which stopped his headaches. They ruled out hepatitis A,B and C, so the diagnosis so far is FUO (fever of unknown origin) possibly viral. He is glad to be home. More tests are ahead, but the symptoms have subsided.

I will remember all of you in my prayers and thank God for his healing touch.

To God be all the glory!

May he guide the doctors, so that anything hidden in his body will be brought to their attention, and may he regain his full strength.
