I just found out that I have a job interview next Tuesday. My previous position lasted for 16 years so its been a LONG time since I've done an interview and I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing. Please remember me in your prayers.

Barbara,

Prayers for a successful interview and that, if the position is one which you want, that an offer is made.

Many years,

Neil

Barbara:

Remember that the Lord sits next to you when you have this interview. Place your trust in Him and in His Help. He won't let you down.

Lord Jesus, grant to your servant, Barbara, Your Help during the interview she has in the near future. She depends on this interview for a job that will provide dignity, a sense of self-worth, and a means of supporting herself and her family. You know what we need before we ask it and Your Generosity in granting to your faithful ones what they ask of You is part of the hope that we hold. Help Barbara, Lord. Don't do it because I ask it, unworthy as I am, but do it for the Glory of Your Holy Name. AMEN.

I think the interview went pretty well. I have the skills they are looking for and there are opportunities for growth in this position. When I emailed in my references the woman who I interviewed with said she was "excited" to have had me interview for the position, so it sounds positive. Just a few more prayers needed as they have other interviews. I will know for sure by Friday.

Thank you Neil, byzanTN, Mary Jo, Bob, and all those who silently pray but don't post. The beautiful image of Jesus right next to me was especiallly comforting Bob.

God bless you all,
Barbara

Barbara:

Many years ago, it was suggested to me that I imagine Jesus walking along beside me wherever I went. He always walks along on my right so that I am on His left, closest to His Heart. So He is always there, standing, walking, sitting, goofing off, working.

I have never been alone since.

Ask Him to walk with you.
