Katie the prayers coming forth from the heart of a young person are so powerful. Thanks for reminding us to pray.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, shine your light of mercy down on the miners that are trapped in this mind. Give them hope and manna from above that they might be at peace and know you as their Lord and Saviour until their recue comes. Grant peace and strenth to the families and loved ones waiting above for any word, let them find their strenth in you Jeus. Amen

My prayers go out to all miners who are trapped underground and all of their families waiting for good news. It is important that we as a Byzantine Christian community stay together and comfort all who need our strength.

Twelve miners have lost their fight to survive...

Eternal memory, blessed repose and eternal memory.

27 year-old, Randal McCloy, was rescued and is in critical, but stable condition....

May God grant Randal, many years!

When I went to bed last night the news report was that 12 miners were found alive.

When I got up this morning at 6:00 a.m. here and went online I learned that this was not true and that only one was found alive. confused

My prayers for the families in that little Baptist church who waited and rejoiced in the good news only to learn the rumor was not true.
frown How devastating and sad for them!

My prayers today for the repose of the souls of those miners who perished and for the best medical care and recovery for the survivor, Randall McCloy.

May God have mercy on all!

In the Name of Jesus...

Blessed repose, and eternal memory!

What an incredible story! May God help and strengthen and support all of their families in this terrible tragedy.
