I just got this email from Father Michael, a priest of the Eparchy of Passaic in Florida, :
Quote
Christ is Risen!
Please pray, as many of you already have, for Fr. Paul Edwards who, after suffering a brain tumor operation a few months ago, is now gravely ill and near death. May he enter unabated into heaven during Bright Week, where he will see face to face the High Priest to whom he served so well, yet is all too young at 47 to be with Him God's will be done.
Fr. Michael

Eternal Rest for Father Paul Edwards. May the Holy and Blessed Theotokos wrap him in her mantle and present him to Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ!

Prayers for Father Paul!

I will ask that my young cousin, Jesse, who suffered from a similar condition and is now with our Lord, intercede for God's servant, Father Paul.

God bless,

Gordo

Father Paul celebrated Liturgy I attended not that long ago. I remember him well.

Prayers for our Holy Mother's comfort to her son.

Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil...God grant to your servant Fr. Paul complete healing in his life now and the life to come through the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos amen.

For him to do so during Great and Bright Week is a blessing and a gift."
