Hello all, Earlier today, I got hit by a car. The car hit me on it's side as it was turning at the intersection. I got banged down onto the ground hard, but thankfully the car didn't hit me head on. I walked away...shaken...and my body is sprained. I'll probably get real sore in few hours. But nothing broken here. Please keep me in your prayers as I was a little shaken and hoping that nothing is serious here. SPDundas Deaf Byzantine PS, It happened just 25 minutes ago.

Dear SPDundas..
You get yourself to a doctor and get entirely checked out - without delay. And then post here to us as soon as possible so that we may know you are alright.
We shall all, here, be very concerned until you post back to us.
In the mean time, my prayers are dedicated to you. This is not something that I like (you being hit) and I will let God know that I will be very upset if this is anything else than just bumps and bruises.
Please� post to us as soon as possible. I will be looking for your post - every few hours.
In the mean time, I will trust that God does not want to wound our hearts and that He is not finished with you (to your sainthood) and will leave you here with us while He continues his work on you.

This is the part I sent to Alice on PM to her...
Thanks so much for your prayers.
I was a little shook up, but I am okay.
The funny thing is...when I got up...there were cars all around me facing me in downtown...with faces filled with SHOCK...all mouths dropped.
You know...I'm okay...no physical injuries...etc. although I was thrown down to the ground hard when it happened. But when I got up...nothing's broken, not even sprains or scratches. Just landed on my hands..causing some shock to my spine up to my shoulders...feeling just a bit "sprained" or whatever. I looked at my back and side where the car hit me at...no bruises.
I wasn't sure if I should go to the doctor or call police or whatever. I've never been hit by a car before...didn't know what I should do.
I mean...nothing is hurting...no broken bones, etc. So we'll see tomorrow how I feel.
Man...I hope I won't be sore tomorrow morning. Goodness gracious.
It's truly a miracle. If I took one more step...my life would have been turned upside down...because the car would have hit me head on...breaking my hips, bones, etc. But this time it just sideswiped me hard.
I'm incredibly blessed.
I was just a little shaken when I told everyone on the forum about this.
I even had to end up comforting this lady who was very upset, shaken and crying. She begged my forgivness. And everything. So I told her I did and gave her a hug.
That was just all so weird ya know...life can be taken from anybody in an instant! WOW!
Again ,many thanks for your prayers and for your concerns. I really appreciate it...it moved me.

I agree wholly with RayK. Please go to the doctor...and I'm sure you'll be getting rest...but surely you must get checked... not that I am not glad you are doing well, but I urge you to go as soon as you are able to get there.
Yes, certainly one should have made a police report, of course! As well as insurance information exchanged! Name, address, insurance.
A bit stunned to read of your comforting the one who hit you.... what a scene that must've been.
My thoughts and prayers are and will be with you.
