In your charity, please remember the 33+ soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq today.

May our Blessed Mother comfort their families and St. Michael the Archangel guide these warriors in Paradise!

May Our Lord God and Savior bring peace to this troubled land and bring all of us leaders who will work for peace and not war...

May the dead rest in peace.
May their families find consolation.
May those who seek war and not peace find judgement. Amen.

Eternal God, Creator of the universe, there is no God but You.
Great and wonderful are Your works, wondrous are your ways.
Thank You for the many splendoured variety of Your creation.
Thank You for the many ways we affirm Your presence and purpose,
and the freedom to do so.
Forgive our violation of Your creation.
Forgive our violence toward each other.
We stand in awe and gratitude for Your persistent love
for each and all of Your children:
Christian, Jew, Muslim, as well as those with other faiths. Grant to all and our leaders attributes of the strong; mutual respect in words and deed, restraint in the exercise of power, and
the will for peace with justice, for all.
Eternal God, Creator of the universe, there is no God but You. We ask these things in His blessed and all holy name, Jesus Our only advocate before the Father, Who with the Holy Spirit, lives and rules as One God unto ages of ages, Amen.

Most Holy Mother of God save us!

In His Holy Name,
+Fr. Gregory

+Father Archimandrite Gregory, who asks for your holy prayers!

Prayers for all those who are the victims of war, most especially the military of our armed forces and those of our allies and the innocent Christians of our Churches who call Iraq home.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy. I pray for these soldiers and their families and those who remain in harm's way wherever they are deployed. As I type this I am thinking of: >>>

My great nephew, John, was just sent to Afghanistan last month shortly after he got married.

God protect him and keep him safe. Comfort his young wife, Crystal, as she waits for his return. Give them both peace of mind and heart and help them trust in the protection of the Angels of God.

In Christ and the Theotokos,

Mary Jo
