Dear brothers and sisters,
Slava Isusu Krystus!
First, I would like to thank the Lord with much joy in my heart for giving me this wondrous opportunity to discover and live the tradition of Eastern Christianity.
Second, thank you for your prayers. About a year ago, I asked the generous Christians of this forum for prayers that the Lord reveal his WILL. Though it is still unclear to me but somehow I found myself taking forward steps. Just this Winter Session, I have started the B.Th in Eastern Christian Studies program at the prestigious Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute.
I still couldn't believe that I am here. Being a Roman Catholic lay youth coming from the Philippines where Easther Christianity is basically unknown and only a hand full of Greek Orthodox who only add up to less than 1000 Pilipino souls spread through out the archipelago.
The experience of being here fills my heart with love for the Lord. Praise God!!!
Have a blessed Fast,
eumir
P.S. special thanks to Alex and Diak for all the information regarding Eastern Christianity, directly asking a question or just reading the posts. Thanks!
By the way, Alex, Fr. Peter Galadza is my professor for the "Byzantine Liturgy of the Hours and Liturgical Year" course.
