Dear Readers,
I would like to humbly ask your prayers for an addiction probem I am facing (no, it's not cigarettes - I already do that). I won't say what it is, only that it is unhealthy. I wouldn't say I'm "addicted," yet, but please pray that I stop associating myself with it.

Prayers for Teen and all young people who are, or have been, religious and/or spiritually oriented-- for the addictions, the struggles for integrity in their decisions, and for the temptations they face at every moment and every day--that reach out to desensitize them and spiritually and/or physically destroy them--at home, with their friends, on the internet, through the media, music, magazines, movies, and in their high schools and universities.
In the powerful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, hear our prayers for Teen and for all young people and young adults living in these pagan times.

Prayers, of course. It's been my experience that when I conquer one thing, another is often waiting to take its place. I suppose my point is that we are never safe from temptation, and someone out there who doesn't wish us well will try to lead us astray by any means that will work.

You are not selfish Teen  God tells us to pray fervently for one another. If we do not come to our brothers and sisters for prayer, then we take away from them the opportunity to work for the Lord, to cooperate in our part of redemptive salvation. Thank you for your witness here on the forum, you have truly been a blessing to so many who have wondered about youth today. A light shining on the top of the hill, not to be placed under a bushel basket, which continuously shows forth the love of the Lord. Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen. We commend our Teen into your hands to deliver him from any vice that is perplexing to him, set his feet on solid groud, that he may sing your praises all his life through in the glory of God the Father, amen.
