Dear friends,
I have been swamped of late with two things: buying a house and preparing for a Ph.D. qualification exam. As such I haven't been online nearly as much as I would like. I also wanted to post my own comments about the Whiting, IN conference but, again, no time.
So I would like to request prayer for me for my exam which will be on Monday, the 22nd.

Mike, Wow, taking that exam and buying a house at the same time! Either is definitely a challenge and a turning of corner life experience. Yes? As Mother used to say, "Surely as God made little green apples"....I will be praying for you especially today.  Cheers... Congratualations on a job well done! The fact that you are to your Ph.D exam is a major achievment. May our Lord grant you all the wisdom necessary to complete the task at hand, both the exam and the house.

I must extend a massive "Thank you!" to all who have prayed for me. The Lord blessed me with an exam that I walked out of feeling pretty good about. Regardless of the outcome, He's been extremely good to me.

St. Justin the Philosopher. Is this the same saint we refer to as St. Justin Martyr celebrated June 1st and commonly referred to as the patron saint of apologists?
If it is, his feast day is my birth day.
