My doctor just called and said the MRI results came in, and they suggest Multiple Sclerosis. He is referring me to a neurologist.
Please keep my family in your prayers. One of my biggest concerns is that I wouldn't be able to change jobs because then it would be a 'pre-existing condition' on future insurance policies. We have very much wanted to move since there are no Byzantine parishes in our area, but that would mean changing jobs too.

Dear Tammy,
Know that you are in my prayers as you and your doctors further discern the exact nature of your condition.
Please investigate your insurance options with regard to a potential new job further. I am an employer who provides medical insurance to my employees through a group PPO plan. As such, my plan requires that I provide coverage to new employees and their eligible dependents, including conditions that they may bring along with them. If it were not for this requirement, countless people would never be able to afford to change jobs.
Different states (I'm in Illinois) may have different rules re: group insurance plans. Please check the rules in your state - I'm praying that you'll be pleasantly surprised!
