Rev. Msgr. William G. Levkulic, pastor of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Duquesne, PA, fell asleep in the Lord today, January 15, 2002. His wake will be at SS. Peter & Paul Church from 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, January 17 & 18. The funeral service for a priest will be celebrated there on Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, January 19 at 10:30 AM the funeral Divine Liturgy will be served. Internment will follow at the parish cemetery in West Mifflin, PA.

In blessed repose, grant eternal memory to your departed servant, the priest William, and remember him forever.

Eternal Memory!

May the feet which walked in the Holy of Holies not tread in the darkness of death, but in Paradise with the Great High Priest.

I recognize Msgr Levkukic's name from my treasured, well-worn Ruthenian Catholic pew book (still in use), given away when my old church replaced them with new ones. I also remember seeing it in Johnstown's (the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese) pew book, as his work was a source material for it. Apparently his was one of the first official translations to English.

Dear Serge,

You never fail to impress me and I vote you to be a Pillar of Orthodoxy.

Let's keep quiet about it or else New Skete just might do an icon of you next month!

Alex
