I observed some unusual, at least for me, words here.

If you all want, let us pray for unity between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church and all the Eastern Churches, and for peace here. We all are sister and brothers in Christ. And the time is short, and we do not know when it ends.

Let us rather build bridges, with long-patience and love, between East and West.

God is with us always. Let us fear, and do the main commandment (not a recommendation): love for God and for each other. And the Resurrection must be lived every day, not only once in a year.

Thank you.

In the Risen Christ,

Marian

Dearest Marian,

That was a very beatiful prayer post. Thank you so much for it my Orthodox brother in Christ.

Loving each other is one of the hardest things we are commanded to do, this is true.

May God's peace be with all of us. Life is too short and eternity too long.....

We all share Christ.

Forgive me if I have offended you or anyone else.

In Christ's love,
Alice

Dear Alice,

I thank Mary Jo Porter and you for being a part of this place. Regarding me, I can't be offended by you or other. I believe that only the own sins can offend...

May Our Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God have much mercy upon all of us.

In Christ, Marian

Amen Marian,

There is also a problem with Orthodox not being courteous to other Orthodox. This is a forum that has expressed courtiousness in discussion even in opposition.

Sweet Jesus may we once again realize we are brothers and sisters in you. Through your love and grace we are ONE! Come Lord Jesus, heal the hearts of your faithful. May we examine our words before we type them, asking if they glorify God. If not may we hold our tongue and offer correction where it is needed in love. For you alone are our God, defend us oh Lord, for in our passions we fail you miserably. Forgive us Lord and let us rejoice in you alone.

Marian,

Thank you, my brother; your prayer is indeed one that we should all pray, for unity among us and charity between us cannot help but be pleasing to God (and the opposite cannot help but be displeasing to Him).

Many years,

Neil
