During Mass months back, I had offered up intentions for Lewis to defeat Tyson and Dela Hoya to defeat Vargas.

Both Lewis and Dela Hoya represent "good guys" while both Tyson and Vargas represent thug & gangsterism. The victory of "good guys" over thugism and gangsterism I had felt would send a clear message that "good guys" can be a decent representation of masculinity to the young folks of the world. And I thought their victory would be good for boxing too.

Well Both Lewis and Dela Hoya are the victors. I have yet to see the Tyson and Lewis fight - I was in community when they fought - but I saw the Dela Hoya / Vargas fight. And not only did Dela Hoya win, but I'm convinced his 10th round combination that rocked Vargas will go down in the history books as text book material as to how to rightly execute combinations.

So getting to another point, assuming my prayers helped them. smile What's the chance you think I can get a cut of their pay day? smile

That's funny.
Here during the World Cup Soccer, in some catholic parishes they use to dress the "baby Jesus" with the uniform of the National Team, so they say that the Team will win.
Unfortunately it gives good results only before the first round, bad luck.

Now that's funny but I believe it. In community we didn't watch much tv. But because of the European presence, we had to watch the World Cup matches. The Europeans use to sit on 'pins and needles' when their respective national teams played. Being that the US wasn't going to win smile I had to cheer continental wise. That ultimately meant the Brazilians.
