I don't see why you'd want to post this on the forum.

Well, that conversation apparently got censored, but I also ask: what is the point of this post? A tragic story, to be sure, but why are you posting it here?

The original posting was a complete detailed news story of a gruesome crime.
(The original title of this thread was "Exorcism?").
I then posted, "I don't see why you would want to post this on the forum."
Now he has inserted, "That hurt my feelings."
However, he has now deleted the originally posted article, replacing it with "I love you guys".
This seems to me to constitute irresponsible use and manipulation of the forum. I ask the moderators/admin. in charge to address this type of behavior.

I tend to agree with Communion of Saints. While almost any topic is acceptable for discussion, it is not appropriate to simply post a news story in hopes of getting a reaction. The appropriate way would have been to post an excerpt of a particular story, the link to the entire news story, and then at least a few sentences offering ones own thoughts on the topic.

Communion of Saints,

I just received your report of the post. The Administrator has clarified how one should post an article. Unfortunately, Michael U has (apparently) changed the subject title and his original post.

Iconophile,

the "censoring" was apparently a "self-censoring."

Michael U,

The questions by the posters are not personal attacks.

Thank you Administrator and Deacon for the clarification as to why that was not appropriate.I can see now upon enlightenment as to why a whole article would be unappropriate.
The original post was put there without too much preparation on my part.I apologize to Communion of Saints for taking it personal.
Nobody special
