Alice,

Enjoy your sabbatical with your family. May you be blessed through prayer.

I have found your moderation to be....most moderating. It is often needed here.

In Christ,
Andrew

I don`t post often, but when I come here to read I always look for your posts. As you see many others here will miss your posts but if you feel you need the break than please do take it. Look forward to your return.

Dear Alice,

As you know, I've taken a sabbatical or two myself. I understand the need and appreciate when you say that you need one!

I'm sorry to hear that you've suffered distress because of your service to this cyber faith community. It is one of the few places where Western and Eastern and Oriental Christians of all hues can come and expect to be treated with kindness and care and respect. It saddens me to hear that that has not been the case for you.

It saddens me most especially because you have been as someone else said above, part of the heart of the community. You've been supportive and you've made peace where there was disharmony.

I thank you because of your care for and support of me personally here. I thank you for your service to us all. You are a voice of reason illuminated by Faith among us. You always seem to find that which is of God in each of us and in our traditions.

I respect your decision, Alice. I do pray that your time away will be brief. If the role of moderator is a source of difficulty, come back without it!

You are always moderate and and moderate without the title.

You have many titles beside your name in the Book of Life I'm sure.

Mother, friend, fellow believer, peacemaker, and builder of the City of God leap to mind with no need to reflect!

So, come back friend and heal among us!

I'm holding you in the depths of my heart as I pray. Remember me when you go to the depths of your heart to pray. May the God you encounter there grant healing and strength to you!

Steve

Dear Alice,

I echo Pani Rose in saying "go with God." You are loved by many here and have been appreciated. Hopefully you will return again soon as you have other times. Breaks are good and always good to be taking that extra posting time to focus on our families especially this time of year. You are in my prayers. May you and yours have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Your sister in Christ,

Porter.

Dear All,

Wow! I am completely humbled and honored by your words.

I bow to the image of Christ in all of you. My feelings of respect for your faith and charity cannot be adequately expressed in words.

Suffice it to say, I am refreshed, and very glad to be back among you because you all are simply:
THE BEST! smile

May our Lord bless you all with every possible blessing from above,
Alice
