This is very interesting. I am serving as Deacon in two Northeastern Pennsylvania parishes. One, St. John the Baptist in Forest City, Pa. has several members of the Burik family. I see that name coming up on the geneaology. Their father, Rev. Nicholas Burik, was one of the last married priests to serve there. Their mother was Vilma Burik. They also claim to be blood relatives of Bishop Pavel Gojdic.
