I just found 1,040 acres for sale in a lot. Only $416,000.

Only problem is it's in North Dakota.

I can take the coldness with no trees!

Mark 9:23:
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth"

So I guess so. Maybe we'll have to build a greenhouse.

So, when we build are village will there be a way to own our Churches in Trusteeship. Or will we have to worry about our Bishop putting our town on E-Bay? eek

We will have to build two churches though.

One we all go to and then that other one across town we don't go too.

Nathan, some of the greatest beers in the world were made by monks i.e. Belgian Trappist Ales - really the champagne of beers.

Sure I would barter for decent beers - barter should be the way to do business, anyway. I'll have some cheese and meat - we'll need something to wash it down.

Private school or public? I say neither - it has worked for us (we have a homeschooling coop).

Diak,

I've yet to try some of these Belgian beers from monasteries, but I've read a lot about them. My homebrewing skills will have to improve before then. I just started out this year and have made a batch of decent, but not great hefeweizen.

Hmmmm...homeschooling co-op eh? What is that? My wife and I are planning on homeschooling our toddler, but I've never heard of a homeschooling co-op.

Besides my novice brewing skills, the only other special skill I possess is auctioneering, so maybe we could work that into our village and we could have a craft auction every month or two!

Diak, do you have a farm in Kansas right now?? Don't know if you're a basketball fan, but if you are I'm sorry about Kansas poor showing in the tourney this year...ouch.

You HAD to bring that up, didn't you? At least we can relish in both the season and post-season tournement as Big 12 champs (I'm a Rock-Chalk alum, after all... ) Yes, we have a "funny farm" here with sheep, goats, and a few other critters.

Co-op is where several families go in together, and individual parents, each with their own strengths can teach certain age groups of several home-schooling families. That also allows for sports as you have a parent organization through the coop to form the sports teams.

The bigger question is:

Which translation of the liturgy do we have to use? ;-)
