Dear Dr. Juraj,

It is wonderful to see you joining our forum! You may not recall, but about a year ago you assisted me in tracking down records from my own family's ancestral village of Cabiny, to the point of actually photographing hand-scribed entries in village record logs relative to my grandfather's birth and even my great-grandparents' marriage records! What a wonderful service you provide! We are blessed to have you among us.

As a sidenote, a computer malfunction cost me all the priceless information you had sent me (ah, but we are wise to note that those archaic, hand-written records still remain! wink ). With your indulgence, sir, I'd like to contact you offline to see if you may still have that information available to re-send to me - my family was VERY appreciative of your help!

If I may say so again, Dr. Juraj, welcome to our forum! And to my Rusyn brethren out there, I can personally attest to the accuracy and quality of Dr. Juraj's geneological research - for many of us he truly is our link to "home!"

Al (a pilgrim)
