I'll ask you to note that the work in question is being pulled in particular to be sensitive to Muslims following the July bombings in London.

Does anyone care to speculate as to whether the Tate Gallery would have bestirred themselves to such heights of religious sensitivity if the work involved only Christian texts?

Gaudior, cynical and annoyed that "sensitivity" and "respect" do not seem to apply equally across the board, but who is grateful at least that SOMEONE'S religion is not allowed to be mocked by "art"

It would seem that not only Muslims but secularists believe that all Christians and Jews deserve is the Dhimmi status. Is the message given here this: "The only way to gain any respect is to bare the sword?" I pray not.

Is Pope Benedict's dream of reevangelizing Europe too late?
