Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse . . .

The Netherlands, the moral black hole of Europe, now has a political party advocating the legalization of pedophilia.

My mind reels at this.

John, Christ is Risen!

Unfortunately I saw the banner to this on CNN and Netscape News, but chose to ignore the story. Some things just do not help one spiritually, and this is definitely one of those things.

In the Risen Christ,
Father Anthony+

This is one of the earliest countries to abandon the Church for protestantism. Is there a connection, do you think?

Father Anthony,

I know what you mean, but I can't ignore it. They need prayers. They are going to go to hell otherwise. In a real sense, they are already there. But, they can still be saved in this life, so I have to pray; and I have to ask others to pray for them too.

Dan,

I don't think there's a connection to Protestantism and this. This is just a total abandonment of morality. It's happening elsewhere, including in the U.S., but it's more hidden. It's just that the Netherlands are more naked about it and more corrupted by it. And, it is a sign of things to come here if nothing is done.

God have mercy on us all.

St Willibrord, St Boniface and St Nicholas pray for the people of the Netherlands that may return to the faith.

I'm not surprised, John. After all, they're also moving to legalize infanticide.

I don't think the Atlantic can swallow that country fast enough.

God bless,

Karen

I went in and read this article and scanned quickly another. Since so many sinful acts are already legal I'm assuming that some of these politicians are probably workingvia minds polluted with diseases contracted from the illegal acts they've already approved.

Thats not nice to say such things of the Dutch. We have the same group of people in ALL of our countries who prey on the young and the vulnerable. Some people over react to newspaper articles without thinking first.

Hi,

In all fairness, the article does mention the vast majority of the Dutch people are actively opposed to this group's agenda.

I guess we can find wackos everywhere.

Shalom,
Memo
