Hey, guys. I'm in bulk bead buying groups in order to get good prices on beads. Well, one of my groups is currently doing a bulk buy on gold leaf and foil (and silver, and palladium, whatever that is....)

I know iconographers use gold leaf on the backgrounds, and I thought I'd pass on this tip if anyone is looking for some at a good price. PM me and I'll give you the name of the yahoo group to join in order to get in on the good prices.

Tammy have you checked out the bulk beads on ebay. They seem really good to me, but I just buy a few here and there.

Tammy,

It's a precious metal, usually mined in the same area as platinum. It's used in the jewelry trade in an alloyed form.

Many years,

Hi Tammy!

Thanks for your kind offer.

Can you tell me what karat the gold leaf is?

Some of those that are a lower karat will turn color after a couple of years. This is why I'm concerned.

Thanks again!

The buy ends January 9. I have posted the question of what karat the gold is and will let you all know.
