Hey everyone! Just wanted to welcome myself back - I just got home from a week(+)-long trip driving from L.A. to Kansas City, MO and back. Unfortunately I was unable to visit St. Luke's in Kansas City, as I'd originally planned - you know how it is: too many relatives and not enough time. But I did manage to have some fun, as you can see: [ Linked Image]

Welcome back. My wife likes the tan ones, but really likes the green ones. Was this post or pre K.C. B-B-Q? Michael

Would you believe - no BBQ?? The closest I came was some fried chicken gizzards at a gas station in Oklahoma. Yummy!

Christine, Is that a mid-west version of motel 6 ? I don't see the porch light. Glad you're back safe & sound, sorry you did'nt get to sample the bbq, I heard it is as good as Texas style. james

Welcome back, Dolly! It seems it is the food basket you went to; the heart is in Chicago, or thereabouts! :p (I prefer chicken feet or turkey necks. Or, frog's legs!) Amado P.S. James, the porch is located at the back, so the light cannot be seen from this vantage point!

Well, it was kind of like "The Simple Life", without the sleaze factor ... a city girl on the loose in the Midwest without any Equal or Splenda for her coffee ... now THAT'S what I call a scary reality show!
