Larry, Nathan, Dan,
I believe that what was meant to be a post rejoicing at some initial evangelistic activity, is becoming a thread lamenting the internal communication problem dealing with your local parish.
I would strongly suggest that the issue of parish communication be dealt with on the local level where it belongs and not in this section of a public forum. I suggest that the issue be taken up directly with your parish priest, and have this worked out. This forum has nothing to do with internal parish communications, but may serve as an extension of some its activities, if so deemed by a Forum member regarding the appropriate subject area.
I hope this is the last of this back and forth, and pray that a resolution can be worked out on the local level, where this matter belongs. If not, maybe this thread has served its life out?

Fr. Anthony -
Thanks for your posting. I agree wiht your points regarding lamenting, however, I would call your attention to the fact that this is a thread dedicated to Peoria - I am writing regarding communication of the Peoria based "events".
Although I speak of communication issues at Annunciation regarding "events", my comments do not need to be limited to a singal locality. How is the "word" being communicated to all in your area?
Are parishioners getting the "word"? Are they informed? Is the information timely? How is the information being communicated outside of the internet?
I'm sure your insights would be helpful!!!

Nathan -
Thank you for your reply. Can you elaborate on communication improvements that keep you from being "worried"?

Dear Larry,
If you refer to my earlier warning, the solution is to take the issue back to the local level i.e. the parish and those responsible for the communication problem. You do not take it to a public area without first addressing it there. This has been stated already. The Forum is dedicated to evangelization and the spreading of the gospel, not to be a sounding board for your parish's internal problem. Problems can not be resolved unless you addressed it at the source. This Forum is not your source, but rather your parish.
With this said, this thread is going to be closed. I pray that the parishioners of your community can resolve this issue rather have it have them use this forum to air their issues.
