Father Bo, You might consider Conciliar Press' Orthodox Study Bible Companion Series: http://conciliarpress.bizhosting.com/gospel_of_john_2.html St. Vlad's also has a new series of commentaries which might be useful: http://www.svspress.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_6&products_id=51 Although it is not specifically Eastern, you might consider Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch's Ignatius Study Bible Series. Although not specifically Eastern, per se, the commentary section makes significant use of the writings of the Church Fathers. Personally I would rather read what St. Augustine or St. Athanasius had to say about a certain part of Sacred Scripture than reading what a modern "Bible scholar" has to say. Its quite a unique and valuable study Bible. It was produced by the theological faculty of the Catholic University of Navarre (Spain).
