I was looking to see who was online and noticed that 2 individuals were listed as "invisible users".

May I ask - apart from the obvious, what is an "invisible user" and how do they differ from "anonymous users"? shocked

Just curious...

Y'all are a good laugh to wake up to biggrin

Kind of like on my webstore, I get the 'unkown' viewer. Well one of the things that I know about the 'unkown' viewer is he quotes. Unknown says things like this biggrin

Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a function.
Unknown

Anyone who uses the phrase 'easy as taking candy from a baby' has never tried taking candy from a baby.
Unknown

Eat a live toad the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.
Unknown

People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.
Unknown

But he gets pretty serious too...
We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind of self-government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.
Unknown, (attributed incorrectly to James Madison)

Where a calculator on the ENIAC is equipped with 18,000 vacuum tubes and weighs 30 tons, computers in the future may have only 1,000 vaccuum tubes and perhaps weigh 1.5 tons.

So anyway, maybe the 'invisable viewer' is like this person 'unknown'. biggrin

An "Invisible User" is a registered user who is logged in but has chosen not to have his user identity listed in "Who's Online". [This setting in is "My Stuff" > "Preferences" near the bottom of the screen.]

An "Anonymous User" is a reader of the Forum who has not registered or a registered user who is not logged in.
