Who gave the bishops who are changing the Liturgy the permission to change the Nicene Creed?

I didn't study liturgical rubrics or a great deal of Church history, so I am not well versed in the changes that are proposed to take place, but I do know that the Creed is being changed and I am absolutely APPALLED!!!

At the ordination of Father Joseph Marquis and Father Ihor (both married men, bravo! bravo! bravo!) when they recited the creed at the knee of Bishop John, they used the words "...and was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became 'human'....." instead of "....and was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became 'man'....."

I don't recall seeing this in the new translation.

But I have two questions:

1)is this in the new translation?

2)when was this change implemented, by whom, for what reason, and if it hasn't been implemented then how can it be used at these ordinations or anywhere for that matter?

Italics is [ i ]insert word[/i ] (but no spaces in the brackets.) If you go to the composition screen instead of the quick quote, you will see an italicized I.

Well, I just checked my handy copy of the "new music" (sorry, just the liturgy portion) that I happen to have and it does say "man", however I don't have the final format, yet. However, if you look at the Matins text on http://metropolitancantorinstitute.org , the Great Doxology has been chaged to "Glory to God in the highest, and to people on earth, peace and good will", from "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace; good will among men"

You can find all kinds of "horizonal" incluse language in the Vespers and Matins material on that site, you almost choke on the words when you stumble upon them.
