Dear Friends: I am losing my job at the end of the month of December. My company is trying to be supportive in terms of helping me find another job here, but no luck yet. I am also looking outside of the company. I am a little afraid, because I have diabetes, and will have to pay $400 per month to keep my health insurance. I am invoking Our Lady's help, as well as the help of our blessed martyrs, Theodore Romzha and Mykolay Charnetsky. I ask your prayers too, during this anxious time.

My prayers are with you. I had the same situation last year. Unfortunately, assignments are more the norm now than careers.
Of course, prayers are important now. So is dilligence.
I found the online resources very helpful. The good news is that it is very easy to apply online, just cut & paste your resume. The bad news is also that it is easy to apply online- hundreds are very likely applying for the same position.
This time of seeking new employment can be very stressful. Please keep up your enthusiasm and spirits, and try to keep discouraging news from getting you down.
Please let me know if there is more detail I may provide you.

I know what it is like..I lost my job in June...maybe it was for the best , since i was able to assist my late mom during that time......mabye there is higher plan at work .....My prayers are with you

I am so sorry to hear this! I will offer my prayers and ask for the intercession of Saint Joseph the Worker.
I went through the same thing several years ago and was able to find a much better role. I pray that God's mercy surrounds you opens up the right opportunity for you!

what resources does the State of Minnesota have to get you through this time, bro? take it from someone who lost his TennCare (but finally got Medicare) a year ago, and who is uninsurable. look into it, now. prayers and best wishes. it's a crappy time to lose a job, believe me, I've been there.
