I got a call from the jail about volenteering. I have an appiontment on Jan 10 1PM Eastern time. This involves 2 of the highest ranking police officers in the county. I hope to start my anti-addiction ministry. Please pray for me to help as many as possible.
For someone like me who has worked spiritually in anti addiction for 17 years this will be like getting ordained to a vocation.

Pray that you will have the wisdom to avoid minipulation by persons in jail. As a former correctional officer I was able to see another perspective on jail ministries by watching and listening to inmates back in their cells. I am sure the correctional authorities will provide you adequate training and inmate behavior. Listen to any correctional officers you may meet, many of them are also Christians with decent families they go home to.

The appointment has been posponed until the 17th at 1PM. I guess this gives me more time to prepare. At least it eliminates the confusion of Thursday the 10th of the origional appointment.

May the chains of the Apostles be with you, that the Holy Spirit will break them loose and free the souls of so many who are imprisoned. Imprisoned not just for the wrong deeds they did, but more so that their souls be freed for they are imprisoned to this world.
