I like shark marinated in rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and olive oil. Then have th fishiness grilled out of it. Tuna and shark are the only fish I can eat without gagging! sick

So for fasting purposes only invertebrates are allowed? No cajun alligator bites?

Gordo-

The bottom one of your pictures is another living fossil. It's an arapaima, the largest freshwater fish in the world and fish of its type go back to the Jurassic era.

And for what it's worth, I'm told that they are VERY tasty and are a prized food fish..........

Markos

How magnified are your works, Oh Lord!
The Earth is filled with thy creation.
Even the great and spacious sea - therin are things creeping innumberable, small living creatures with the great.
There go the ships, there goes this dragon you made to play therein.

Arapaimas are really interesting. They can jump out of the water to eat birds! Gordo's lower pic doesn't look like one to me, though. Arapaimas have a different look to their fins, a longer body shape, and a grayer color.
