Here in Brazil, as far as I know, all our churches have its liturgies based on a Liturgicon published in 1965, by Arch. Pedro Arbex. In there, the pronoun used to refer to God is the equivalent to the English "Thou" (V�s), and the Pope is treated by "Sovereign Pontiff, the Pope N...". In the past, it was like this, or this Liturgicon is latinized?

We say "for Benedict the Pope of Rome" and that's it. I unfortunately can't comment further on your Liturgicon because I haven't seen it.

the current edition of liturgikon for the Melkite Greek-Catholic church is the one released late last year (in Arabic) by the Patriarchal Liturgical Committee. It's name is "Book of the Divine and Holy Liturgies" (kitaab ul-liytuvgiyaat il-ilaahiyat il-muqaddisah). Only volume 1 (the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom) was published last year.

Matta, but how the mentioned points are expressed in the liturgies you have been watching?

The Greek original for a Byzantine liturgy celebrated in Rome is: "tou panagiotatou akrou archiereos _papa_ hemon <pope's name>, (tou patros kai patriarchou emon <patriarch's name>, )tou arxiepiskoou emon <bishop's name> ...".

This roughly means: "for our all-holy pontiff, Pope ...".
