Well, I think that the offering of Divine Liturgy at 5:00 am sounds like a good idea. The Greek Orthodox Church in Athens, GA offers Divine Liturgy at 7:00 AM. I suppose that working people can stay for at least part of the Liturgy that way. Fortunately, feast days are not Holy Days of Obligation so we won't go to hell if we can't make it to Liturgy.

Of course, in my synod the Bishops approve vesperal liturgies for feast days. So it isn't an issue for us.

It all goes together - abolishment of the overnight Eucharistic fasting leads to all possible manipulations with the Sanctification of Time.

I was told that for an evening Liturgy, one can fast from noon.
I am in the Antiochian jurisdiction.
