For years, on September 1, or the Sunday nearest it, the Cantor read a proclamation of the New Year.
This was a paragraph of about 15 lines, and ended with the words "... the Year 7515, since the creation of the world, according to Byzantine reckoning."
This proclamation was also published in the Eparchial newspapers.
Can some good soul please post the text of this proclamation? My Priest wants me to typeset it, print it and frame it for posting in our church narthex... but I can't find the text !
