This has been a rough few months.

A job I was scheduled to start today did not pan out.

I believe I am going to have to move in with a friend, and leave my house.

That is ok with me, if I have to do it, I have to do it. Better times are ahead. I just want to get back to work.

Please pray for me.

Saint Joseph, patron of workers, pray for those who are looking for work.

my prayers and deepest empathy. I have been there: jobs that did not pan out (learned that when I walked through the door the day I was have supposed to start work). I was homeles for three months, half of that time I crashed on a friend's couch, he hadd his own issues with life, so it was no picnic, then I crashed at a house that until recently was owned by a Protestant church that I have had long association with. I made it, though, and so will you.
Much Love,

Prayers through the intercessions of St. Joseph and St. Nektarios for 'Simple Sinner' to find suitable employment, and also for all those Christian men and women who may be in the same or similar positions.

Kyrie Eleison!

In Christ,
Alice

Through the intercession of St. Joseph and the unknown Patron of the occupation that Simple Sinner is skilled in, I offer my prayers that he find a new and better job. Lord have mercy!

I was buying the house I live in on a lease (land contract situation). It has become untenable, so I am moving in with someone and splitting a town house. Having a roomie wasn't something I imagined myself having at my age... But this simplification of my life might be a dose of humility that I needed.

I thank you all for your prayers. I think somehting is just around the corner.

The unknown occupation in which I have skills is near unknown to me. In the wake of a business that I ran for two years folding (Fuel and energy intensive, costs killed me!) I went back to waiting tables. The hours were good, and so was the money, but I fear that lifestyle (constantly on feet, income not stable) is less and less attractive, so I am tryong to find something more clerical and day-tim (M-F) that would allow me to go to night school and finally finish up the degree I have been dragging my hind end on.

Through the intercession of the Patron of the Unknown Degree, I offer my prayers.

Through the intercession of Sts. Martha, Notburga, and Zita, I offer my prayers for Simple Sinner. (They are the patrons of waiters and waitresses.)

Who knew? Thank you.

I found some work today. Sub contractor computer stuff, working from home. It is good for about 450 hours... So I have something to be working on for right now!

Thank you for the prayers.

Protected by your coming, O Mother of God, well-believing people solemnly celebrate today. Gazing upon your immaculate image they humbly say: "Watch over us with your noble protection and deliver us from all evil by asking your Son, Christ our God, to save our souls." (Troparion)
