Please pray for the comming existance of the Germanic Orthodox church. To imagine this comming together point is to inagine a unity of the Christian faiths. To give it a name makes it more real.
This is related to the unity of Christians. This is my life prayer and I devote my life to this cause. If necessary I will glorify Christ to help achieve this end. However if it happens I hope it waits until I'm elderly.
Almost all non-Catholoc and non Orthodox churches sprang up in NW Europe in nations where spoken languages descend from a proto Germanic language. From these groups sprang many more groups in North America. (English is a Germanic language)
While none of these churches have the full truth, each one has a set of pieces of truth. If they were united in Christ, it would be the Germanic Orthodox church.
The Germanic Orthodox church is now like a shattered chalace with blood and wounds everwhere. Where a glass breaks the point of impact creates the smaller pieces that fly further apart. I started on a far end and counterbalanced with the oppisite far end while being persucuted and healing many.
The day the Germanic churches come together the whole body will be together again.
Imagine all the Orthodox churches and the Roman church all together as one. Imagine all Christians, Jews, and Muslims living in mutual love and respect. Imagine religions, science, and eastern religions complementing each other. Imagine world peace. Just Imagine...
