Through the prayers of our Fathers among the saints, John of
Ars and John of Kronstadt, may the Lord our God have mercy on
you and relieve you of all your sufferings.

Just a quick note to say "Thank You" to everyone who offered their prayers and support. My surgery was Monday afternoon and ended around 3:30pm. By 6am the next morning I could move my left leg that I haven't been able to do since May and even October of 2005. I could not believe it. Things went so well, that I was released from the hospital this morning and am now at home. The doctor projected approximately five days to one week but I was doing so well he really didn't think it was necessary.

I can move my left left in particular in ways I couldn't since before my big surgery in 2005 and I have feeling again on the soles of both my feet! I could actually feel the pins they nurses were sticking in my soles. I couldn't believe that would every feel good.

I had a wonderful St. Nicholas Day present when I signed the discharge papers! So I'm working on getting the pain under control and increasing my strength. But I owe it all to you and everyone who helped me.

Tim

Tim, you do realize that there is no coincidence between the day of your release from the hospital (feast of St. Nicholas) and the annointing you had of his holy oil. This was truly a miracle of God through his Wonderworker, St. Nicholas!

Glory to God!

In Christ,
Alice

P.S. Don't forget to tell the priest that annointed you about this!

I have been thinking the exact same thing. The annointing I had with the oil of St. Nicholas was so powerful and humbling, and the surgery so successful, I can't believe it is a coincidence. Not with two bottles of Holy Water from Lourdes in my pack as well! Sign me up, I was a believer before, I'm even more of a believer now. I hope I am able to attend Liturgy this Saturday night to pass it along to everyone. I recommend it to anyone who is having problems of any kind. It was just so overwhelming and humbling. God truly is with us and does care about each of us. All we need to do is ask!

S'nami Boh!

Tim

Psalms
Chapter 23

1
1 A psalm of David. 2 The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.
2
In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me;
3
3 you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name.
4
4 Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage.
5
5 You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6
6 Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.
