WOW! In six languages also.

BIBLIA CLERUS

READING THE WORD OF GOD WITH THE CHURCH :
This program offers Sacred Scripture, its interpretation in light of Sacred Tradition and the teachings of the Magisterium, with appropriate theological commentary and exegesis.

The downloadable version allows you to connect Sacred Scripture to the complete works of many Doctors of the Church, Councils, Encyclicals, teachings of the Popes, Catechisms, as well as commentaries from secular literature, etc.
Note: At the moment, the content may differ according to the language used. You are invited to expand your inquiry by researching in other languages.

Canon Law and commentaries
This contains the current and earlier versions of both the Latin and Eastern Codes of Canon Law, in parallel and with their fonts

Glory to Jesus Christ!

The following info released by Zenit neews Agency is worth investigation.

Deacon El

ROME, DEC. 10, 2007 (Zenit.org).- A Web site launched by the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy allows researchers to access Bible verses with exegesis from doctors of the Church or cross reference liturgical texts with commentaries from Church Fathers. The site at www.bibliaclerus.org [bibliaclerus.org] offers six categories in nine languages. It also gives the option of downloading the site's content. The nine translations of the Bible, including Hebrew and Greek, can be read side-by-side, as can the Eastern and Latin Codes of Canon Law. The Congregation for the Clergy announced the Bible site on Dec.8, as it marked the nine-year anniversary of the launching of the dicastery's Web site at www.clerus.net. [clerus.net.]

My complaint exactly at the conference in 2000 when it was distributed to the clergy. The Church acts like everyone speaks and reads Italian.
Alas for us poorly educated fools.

Wooohoo! Just downloaded it on my computer. Looks like the Vatican looked at some of my critiques.

Dear OLS,

That may be a security setting that you can change in your browser. An .exe is an executable file (a program) and many computer viruses, etc., can enter via them.

If you think you can trust the site/program, you can probably change the settings in your browser (at least until the download is complete).

Can't blame Mr. Gates (born October 28, 1955; age 52) for that mishap then, it's the hip young Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955; age 52) that's to blame! grin
