Friends:

I am looking for instructional material on the Eastern approach toward sin and the process by which God heals our fallen nature. More specifically, instruction for children on the process of transformation toward holiness. Im in the process of putting together some lesson plans to teach my children the reality that the Church may be likened to a hospital for sinners, and by way of the sacraments, prayer, charity, and fasting, God will sanctify His faithful. Im open to new media and old school. Thank you in advance. Solanus

Look into the Lenten books.

Metropolitan of Nafpaktos Hierotheos (1993) has a great book:

The Illness and Cure of the Soul in the Orthodox Tradition
