WELL,what do you know, I too am St. Melito.
You are St. Melito of Sardis!
You have a great love of history and liturgy. Youre attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world great as it was is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins.
Odd, isn't it? But the qieastiosn are too limited and I wonder how many choices i truly had?

I am St. Melito. I quizzed my wife (who said that she really didn't want to do the quiz) and she is Tertullian. She must have chosen Jerusalem over Athens! Gordo

Find out which Church Father you identify with the most! http://www.fathersofthechurch.com/quiz/I am Origen! (Actually, the more I read, the more I discover I AM much more of an Alexandrian than I originally thought!) Youre Origen!
You do nothing by half-measures. If youre going to read the Bible, you want to read it in the original languages. If youre going to teach, youre going to reach as many souls as possible, through a proliferation of lectures and books. If youre a guy and youre going to fight for purity well, youd better hide the kitchen shears. Gordo I also turned out to be Origen!

I am the only one who has kept and uses the family recipes for Easter and Christmas Eve . . . I would LOVE to have a Slavonic Liturgy here . . . ah, and now I'm getting melancholy that these things do not last. Dave

Gordo,
Check NorseRuthenian's post on the first page for a St Jerome.

St. Jerome. Somehow, I'm just not surprised at all.

Im wondering how many fathers are possible with this quizz. It seems we wouldnt all resemble such a narrow spectrum unless more than me would attack the heretic with a hammer before starting a dialogue.

St. Melito here too!! Maybe a few of the "Mels" could share answers to see how different our answers were, but still came of with the same Father.
