The Council of Hierarchs has made clear that only officially approved texts and musical settings may be used the the Divine Services. Please cease to reference any and all private materials on this Forum. I can only suggest that you be obedient to the Council of Hierarchs in following their directives exactly, as have I. Is there somewhere a list of officially approved musical settings, or if not, how can one recognize what is officially approved and what isn't?

Warning!
The use of unofficial materials is not allowed at any Divine Service in the Ruthenian Metropolia of Pittsburgh. I am someone who has published a small amount of materials over the past 25 years. When the Revised Divine Liturgy was promulgated I was specifically directed to stop publishing all materials, be they for the Divine Liturgy or for any other service (Matins, Vespers, etc.) as only officially approved materials were allowed. It was also made clear that these materials were being prepared by the official commissions and that the work of individual priests and cantors was not welcome or allowed. So please do not promote any materials for use in the Ruthenian Metropolia of Pittsburgh unless they have specific approval of a bishop. We can debate the merits of the Revised Divine Liturgy but I do not wish to be accused of allowing this Forum to be advocating unapproved materials or somehow working against the bishops.

Dear Mr. Administrator,
I thought for a while that my earlier message had vanished without a trace, but now it seems that this is not the case. I am sorry for my misgivings regarding this matter.
I hope from the bottom of my heart that your hierarchs will find more effective ways to push through the liturgical reforms and novel music settings (proficiently cast by erudite professors), at any price.
All the best to your endeavours,
