When I was a young teen, I was into collecting empty beer cans. I still have a lot of 'em at 44! My Grandpap used to drink every lousy beer that existed just so I could have a can for my collection, and extras to trade.
Pittsburgh Brewing used to package Iron City Beer in so many different cans it was crazy. Tech, Mark V, Robin Hood Cream Ale, Dunkel Beer, Oyster House - those were just a few, along with commemorative cans for the Steelers, Pirates, Pitt and WVU. Today, the big breweries pay so much for advertising rights that if PBC put anything related to the Steelers or Pirates they would be immediately sued.
